AIBU to think drum kits should be banned in flats?

as title really... our neighbors likes to practice around 8pm! just glad dd's are pretty heavy sleepers!

ditto for silencer pads, I don't think you can stop people practising.
You should live next door to us. Music practice starts at 8.30 and continues until 8pm. No drums though, we are semi, so only one attached neighbour who is very accommodating.
It is wrong to make noise after this time though and we wouldn't consider it.
