I absolutely detest this behaviour. In my book it is tantamount to saying 'you are not important enough for me to make the effort to be on time'.

A punch in the face is perfectly permissible in this situation.

In an ideal world those of us who are punctual would all be friends to each other leaving the others to get on with it!

yes!!!! The society of punctual people. SPP. Where people would get slagged off for arriving at 5.01 if they hadn't rang to apologise that they were going to be a minute later at 4.55pm.

What a wonderful time we would have
