To think that a parking ticket may not be valid if they got the reg wrong?

Got a ticket yesterday for having a teeny bit of my front tyre on a double yellow. They have got one letter of my reg wrong on the printed ticket and so the stubborn part of me thinks it won't be a valid ticket. No photo evidence recorded and no tax disc details noted. AIBU to think about not paying it and seeing what happens?

There's every chance they have a photo of the ticket on the car with the correct reg visible. Don't ignore it. Do write in and protest the mistake - then there's every chance it will get waived.

Sort it out as you really don't want a ms90 on your licence.

DH stupidly listen to friends on a parking issue had one of these and getting insurance was a nightmare.
