I bought a box of The Queen's favourite chocolates, Prestat, just because it has a royal warrant and I wanted a taste of how the Royals live And they were on special offer The box was pretty but when we tried them.. MEH! they were just like a box of Milk Tray. They even had Turkish Delight bleah

The descriptions were hilarious and reminded me of the Monty Python chocolate sketch "crunchy frog lovingly enrobed in lark's vomit" -

Am I going to get sued for this? But honestly, it was just an ordinary box of chocolates so why does Queenie think they're so great when Hotel Chocolat sells MUCH nicer chocolates (at 3 x the priced).

Is this thread too middle-class? If it helps, I had a Freddo the other day and it was DEE LISH US.

This thread is very unfair to 'er Maj Doesn't the Royal Warrant coat of arms mean that a product is used by anyone in the Royal household? So it could be the Do E's bad taste and meanwhile Queenie is taking a sneaky Freddo out of her peach coloured handbag on the QT....
