Dd (2.3) really enjoys it and I always say yes when she wants to watch it and sit down myself.

I think its the songs.

"Take me up the North Mountain" teehee

Yanbu. One of the best disney films made in a long time, equalled only by Wreck it Ralph.

MyNameIsKenAdams · 11/03/2014 21:14

Yes the Snow In Summer song is brilliant!

"I wanna do whatever snow does in SUMEEEEEERRRRRR"

Loved it, as did both dds. I really liked the fact that for once it wasn't a man saving a woman, the women saved each other and there was no wedding. The songs are fab too. I have pre-ordered the dvd and we have the soundtrack cd, plus the youtube vids get an airing every few days.

TheMildManneredMilitant · 11/03/2014 21:21

Love love love it. I'm generally a Disney fan anyway but this knocks spots off anything else they've done recently (even Tangled which is v fab too). Let it go makes me all emotional every time I hear it.

MsVestibule · 11/03/2014 21:23

girlie in what way? Confused

I love it, taken the DCs to see it twice and may go again this weekend if it's still on at Kid's Club (£1.75 per ticket, bargain).

I love the music (CD now always on in the car when I'm driving the DCs), the animation, the story. DD particularly likes it when I sing Let It Go in a strong Geordie accent. Actually, she doesn't, but it makes DH and DS laugh.

"Let it gan
Let it gan
Cannit hold back nee more

The ca'ad nevva bothad is anyways"

Grin im trying that one tomorrow MrsV

This YouTube clip has been doing the rounds over here. Popular with nursery teachers for some reason!

CambridgeBlue · 11/03/2014 21:28

I loved it and I'm not a fan of animated films but this was so beautifully done. And Let it Go is the most gorgeous song, so glad it got the Oscar, well deserved. Agree that Olaf is a bit odd though.

Slothlorien · 11/03/2014 21:32

I loved it. Lots of important messages within.
I just WISH that the Disney girls didn't have waists the sane size as their eyeballs.

MsVestibule · 11/03/2014 21:37

Ooh, Ken, that sounds much better than my Geordie version! All I've done is changed the accent, not the actually words. Will try your version out tomorrow on the school run.

Picturesinthefirelight · 11/03/2014 21:44

The German version singer is better. willemijn Verkaik -(also an Elphaba)

NotYouNaanBread · 11/03/2014 21:54

I would love to go to a sing-along showing of Frozen.

Clarabumps · 11/03/2014 22:06

I have the soundtrack for the car. Sad emoticon.
I bloody love the songs. The three dc and I belt them out on the way to school in the morning. DS has been known to the snowman song "the SUUUUMMMMEEEER" at welcome time at nursery.

ThornOfCamorr · 11/03/2014 23:19

I love Olaf! He is strange but in a good way Grin I am not really a massive Disney princess fan not for any deep and meaningful reason as i still adore pink and glittery stuff. As a family we were all obsessed with Toy Story, the incredibles and things like but I enjoyed Frozen, the songs are excellent. I also loved Tangled which surprised me. Dd's 1-3 aged 2-22 all love Mulan, Frozen and Tangled. Can't stop saying 'The cold never bothered me anyway' to Dd in the morning in the way to school hehehe.

Allthingsprettyreturns · 12/03/2014 07:54
