(I don't normally buy it but it was sent as a trial offer.)

Omg it's mostly adverts for ridiculously expensive stuff on models with no boobs.

Grrrr so if you buy this, you're buying a book of adverts.

Shan't be.buying again

Christ,if all the models had massive knockers you'd probably be moaning about that for making you feel inadequate. What did you expect from the fashion magazine that you CHOSE to read? If you didn't like reading it you don't have to read it again.

Noodledoodledoo · 09/03/2014 19:49

Would highly recommend Essentials - lots of varying different articles, affordable fashion, things to make and bake, and very few references to celebrities. I picked it up as I fancied something to read when I had an appointment and it didn't appear to be full of ads or articles I had little interest in. Not that expensive either.

I never buy fashion mags! There is nothing to read!

ScarletStar · 09/03/2014 19:57

I used to read Psychologies magazine till I realised it's designed to make you even more neurotic!

ProfessionalKiller · 09/03/2014 20:28

At least three people that subscribe to this magazine have had to make a trip to their local sorting office to collect it this week as the stupid free gift meant it wouldn't fit through their letterbox... and then I had to tramp around the rest of my round carrying the sodding things

Mimishimi · 09/03/2014 20:55

I never buy these magazines anymore for the same reason you gave OP. Somewhere along the line the editors confused advertisements with content - I don't mind the models though. I make my own clothes so find a used one at a local thrift shop occasionally for inspiration but would never dream of paying £££+ for something that requires a slight pattern modification. I used to like Marie Claire.

deakymom · 09/03/2014 21:43

yes i love the justification for superslim smaller than average boobed models is because they are only there to make the clothes look good as if! personally im going to look at the outfit decide my knockers will make it look crap and totally never buy it

seriously i would never buy magazines like that
