I'm hungry and craving junk food. I'm PMSing and I have a cold and a dissertation to write. Wink
I'm in my PJs and it would be so great if they could deliver so I don't have to move too far from my cosy sofa surrounded by books, a snuggly dog and a massive fluffy blanket.

I remember as a student once sliding down a wall crying because McDonalds didn't deliver and only a Big Mac could cure my impossible to budge 3 day hangover.
I may have been slightly unreasonable.

Theodorous · 26/02/2014 14:57

They deliver everywhere else in the world, we have a 24 hour service here

candycoatedwaterdrops · 26/02/2014 15:14

That's it, I'm emigrating.

If only CrappyD's and KFC delivered - that would Make. My. Year.

hickorychicken · 26/02/2014 15:26

What a disgusting suggestion.
Id be absolutely skint Grin

hickorychicken · 26/02/2014 15:27

Someone does this in barnsley, and i think he does beer runs too and cigs etc. Bet he makes a killing at the weekend.

ErrolTheDragon · 26/02/2014 15:30

The only time I ever want a McD is if I'm waiting for a flight connections. Anywhere else, there's always something better to eat so YABU.

GoldenGytha · 26/02/2014 15:31

I'd love it if McDonalds delivered,

Sometimes only a Quarter Pounder without cheese will do, I like the Chicken McBites too.

Bubblegoose · 26/02/2014 15:38

They deliver where I am, too. You can also get medicine, booze and veg delivered. Infuriatingly you can't order groceries though!

MinesAPintOfTea · 26/02/2014 15:43

Is there not a local independent kebab and burger place on Just Eat? I can get cheap fries, fried chicken, burgers and kebabs delivered for free if I spend at least £10 on ice cream. And I live out in the sticks.

Lamu · 26/02/2014 16:00

My nearest one is 10 miles away. The closest at 5 m

Lamu · 26/02/2014 16:00

The closest is Burger King 5 miles away. Envy

ouryve · 26/02/2014 16:01

That's what freezers and fish fingers are for.

candycoatedwaterdrops · 26/02/2014 16:04

Lamu Burger King?? How dare you blaspheme on my thread? Can you not see we are only discussing classy food?

GoldenGytha · 26/02/2014 16:04

I don't like Burger King or KFC, but would so love a McDonalds to deliver,

Only thing is though I'd probably eat it far too often!

CrispyFB · 26/02/2014 16:06

Drive thrus are great for this - you don't need to get properly dressed as you stay in the car! Blush

I think the quality of McDonalds has really gone down in the last few years. And I'm not some sanctimonious McDonald's hater, I used to love them. But the food just doesn't seem as nice as it used to. Also the standard of cooking has gone down, you often get burnt buns, underdone burgers, cheese not melted because it's put in after the burgers cold.

Does anybody remember when they did those mini samosas for a while years ago? The were the most beautiful thing I have ever eaten in my life.

Lamu · 26/02/2014 16:22

Grin Maccy D's is indeed superior. But needs must when you're pregnant out in the sticks. Could you post me a double cheese burger? Please? Smile

candycoatedwaterdrops · 26/02/2014 16:52

SeaSickSal My local McDonalds is actually a bit crap, the food is always warm and a bit soggy. However, the one I often very rarely visit near my work is much better quality. I have trialled my local and my work's local many times, for the experimental reasons ONLY, of course and I have found this to be consistently true. There are actually 2 places near my work - both do much better quality that my 'local'. I may or may not have been experimenting with these 3 McDs over the last few months. It may or may not have anything to do with my trousers feeling a little snugger. I think they may have shrunk, crappy material. Angry

They deliver here in Moldova (E Europe) but not to me as I live 120km from the nearest city Sad. They also serve beer and it's cheaper than the UK.

SomethingkindaOod · 26/02/2014 18:22

I once made the mistake of looking at the American McDonalds menu. I could have emigrated just for that, it looked so much lovelier than it does over here!
YABU. Only because I would be on the phone to them every day...

NuggetofPurestGreen · 26/02/2014 19:09

Oh my god poppeb I have never thought of doing that .

Someone's set up a hangover service here in Dublin so you can phone up on Saturday Mornings and bring you McDs or bacon sandwiches or whatever you like. I was going to open that business!

IdRatherPlayHereWithAllTheMadM · 26/02/2014 19:13

No their food goes stale two mins away from being away from the heater, think of all that conjealed cold fat....

YuK.

IdRatherPlayHereWithAllTheMadM · 26/02/2014 19:15

The food is always warm and a bit soggy
