My friend needed help today to move out. I was already a bit peeved as it's a 3 hour round trip and I don't want to add mileage etc. No offer of petrol reimbursement either. She does however have no one else to help so I reluctantly agreed. I am now sat in her absolutely freezing cold house (no heating has been on as she moved out last week - just her stuff to move out now). She is busy sorting, faffing etc while I am freezing.

There is nothing I can help with as I've loaded my car and she won't tell me what I can sort. I am icy cold. Despite me warning her my car is tiny she said it would fit. It won't so tomorrow will be much of the same. We had planned a nice day out tomorrow. We can't do the rest this afternoon. she could surely have sorted etc before I came. So pissed off. Not how I want to spend the last few days of my half term.

Oid, I gave up most of my day, drove 3 hours, lugged boxes, got messed around waiting for her to do stuff that she could have done before I went to help. Her stuff is stacked in my house, waiting to go in my loft. Perhaps I could have had a kinder attitude but forgive me for not meeting this with a smile on my face. It was a day of my much needed holiday lost.

Well she is sorted. Not sure who helped her yesterday but someone did. I did help her with some paperwork though as she didn't understand it.

Amazing how she found someone. Glad you were able to still help her.
