To asl if anyone else feels violently sick on Virgin's titling trains?

I am okay on non tilting trains on the same route, but when the train gets past Preston on a Virgin pendalino or voyager train, bound for Edinburgh, I begin to feel violently sick. I am currently hiding in the loo and wishing the last half hour of the journey away.

So:

Am I right on thinking it is the tilt that is causing this?

Does anyone else suffer this feeling of sickness?

If so do you have any tips for relieving this feeling?

Glad you survived it Composhat

Haven't ried a Pendalino but strangely consoled to see that I am not the only one who feels sick on Eurostar. Can only just make it through Le Chunnel without chundering as well.

composhat and to add to it, I'd already promised the kids that we'd have a Chip shop tea in Penrith after they met me from the train - greasy fish and chips - just what the doctor ordered Grin

I survived!

If you have to go on one, face forwards, take a travel sickness pill and don't read/look at screen etc, just look out of the window.

I used to use them once a week to get to Liverpool on business. When I was pregnant I had to travel on several slow trains instead as they make me heave. I've not tried them since I had DS, but the toilet stink on them is horrid.

i travelled on the same thing but diff company abroad...at night. EVERYONE around me got sick!! there were two women having dinner, one threw up her red wine on the table, setting the other off. i spent the rest of the journey trying not to gag at the smell and feeling queasy. DH had to go and be sick in the loos Everyone came off teh train looking really unwell. And there were a lot of sick bags being throw into bins. yuck
