AIBU to have an irrational hatred for the term 'holibobs'

Seriously...where has this come from? I hate it! It's not even like it's any shorter than saying 'holidays'.

Should add I also can't stand the terms 'kiddies' and 'poorly'...kids and ill/sick are fine though. Do I have some odd disorder?

oh yes lush is vile, as is "little one" in reference to...well obviously a small child! Also when people say, often in magazines, "I would do a pink lip" or "I would wear a blue suede pump with that". Weird and so affected!
