To think make up on a 22 month old is yuck?

On Facebook being made up, blusher, eye shadow, lipstick to make her beautiful for granddads party!

What is this teaching a little girl who really still is just a baby?

Or an I being judgy and unreasonable to think it a real shame that a baby can't be a baby?

Yanbu! Babies are absolutely beautiful without makeup, all big eyes and beautiful skin. Why on earth would a baby need makeup??

DH had to scrub 21 mo DD's face before nursery this morning as she'd got into my makeup and drawn herself a particularly fine beard blush

My niece loves having a beard. Old man in a past life perhaps? Grin

I let my four and a half year old have a bit of sparkly glitter and sparkly lip balm on for playing and parties. I wouldn't have at 22 months no. The reason I let her is because she asks to play with it now, at 22 months that's coming from the parent and isn't 'play' and is a bit strange imo.

Its not teaching her anything about feminism at 22 months old! She won't care either way.

I think its perfectly horrible but is it any worse than drawing a moustache on your baby? Or big beetly eyebrows? Seen both those one on FB.

You're overthinking it, OP. MN needs to lighten up - it's only make-up FFS!

(I'm joking.)
