I made onion rings and falafel (because I am pregnant and I needed it) for lunch yesterday.

I am being punished today. Honestly the smell is horrific, I walked in to a onion fart fug this morning and the nappies have been evil.

Didn't someone link to charcoal pants once? Wonder if they do charcoal nappies? Hmm

asparagus nappies or fish nappies are the worst - oh and blueberries

sadbodyblue · 16/02/2014 14:04

mushy peas are bad.

there's a parenting website called 'glow' dear Lord!

TheSkiingGardener · 16/02/2014 14:04

Oh I am laughing at 12 poo Monday.

With us it's the high pulse content of nursery food. Day after nursery is a hazardous time.

trainersandaches · 16/02/2014 14:07

Monet homemade falafel are really easy to make (if uou have a food processor) and soooo gorgeous!

Google Chloe Coscarelli's falafels with avocado hummus, I make them fairly often and the whole lot is always polished off.

TheSkiingGardener · 16/02/2014 14:07

Oh blueberry nappies are bad. The smell! And the greeny-purpleness.

I do feel sorry for DS2 though. He has a bit of an off tummy with this cold and must have eaten a blueberry yesterday without chewing it. This morning there was a godawful smell followed by a distinct pop. I opened the nappy to find a small bit of poo and a very shiny intact blueberry. Poor thing.

HunterWellies · 16/02/2014 14:12

We had sweetcorn and blueberries in a nappy once. It gave me the fear I get when I see clusters of small holes.

Kiwi was the absolute worst though. Little black seeds everywhere.

CitrusyOne · 16/02/2014 14:41

Oh yes, I'd forgotten kiwi seeds. And bloody nursery 'she had seconds of chicken curry/chilli con carne/chicken dinner and stuffing.'

Thank you so much.

Sadbody - I'm not sure it is called Glow, but there is a new parenting website that is all about beautiful parenting, yummy mummies and perfect interiors, accessorised with a smiley toddles, dressed in Boden-style, and playing with an artisan wooden toy.

CaffeinatedKitten · 16/02/2014 15:36

Citrusy bad phrasing from me there:o I froze half of the casserole. It is currently marauding about the bottom drawer of my freezer terrorising the leftover bolognese and heckling the peasWink

YarnyStasher · 16/02/2014 15:42

DD has just started solids. She's barely pooed in three days. And she's had lentil soup, carrots, porridge, oatcakes, rice and chicken. At some point today or tomorrow she's going to do a huge shit out of her nappy and through three layers of clothing.

Thank god I haven't fed her falafel :)

ebwy · 16/02/2014 15:43

My 15 month old chewed on his brother's coloured chalk... Bright green poo.

MadAsFish · 16/02/2014 15:53

Good grief. Fried food, and falafel does that to me too. I am (self)banned from any kind of chickpea concoction. The consequences are hideous.

AliceinWinterWonderland · 16/02/2014 15:58

Grin at the OP's dilemma (sorry OP!)

And here... you're right, I can't imagine finding this problem on TheGlow. Hmm

www.theglow.com/

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 16/02/2014 16:01

TheGlow - thank you, Alice - I wasn't too far off the mark.

DrSeuss · 16/02/2014 16:07

That website makes me want to do an enormous dump! Whatcrap!

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 16/02/2014 16:21

I haven't even clicked on the link - I think that website would instantly detect the general messiness and clutter of my house, and my utter lack of yummy mumminess, and wouldn't even let me browse, let alone join!
