There is a hairdressers in my city called Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow. There's also one called Curl Up and Dye.

I thank youplu Thanks

The only 'pop up' enterprises round our way are blokes selling Bic Lighters three for a pound or pirate DVDs out of a suitcase.

JohnFarleysRuskin · 16/02/2014 15:29

Modern day pop up pirates indeed!

pluCaChange · 16/02/2014 17:04

I heard a BBC3 documentary once, on hairdressing puns. It seems to attract more puns than any other sector, according to the documentary author!

My favourite is the tanning shop in Leeds 'Tanz in ere.'

On a related note, why do video shops often double up as tanning shops?

minouminou · 16/02/2014 17:19

I can't hear the phrase without thinking of the psycho killer in Wolf Creek.

"...ya nivah know where oi moight...pop-ahp!"

WilsonFrickett · 16/02/2014 19:00

Grin Tanz in ere. MN does not have the emoticons for how much I love that.

pluCaChange · 16/02/2014 20:17

I'd prefer Tan-Go. I'm pale and interesting, innit.
