To tell you that Bad Mothers Club is closing tomorrow

Just in case there are any stray ex-BMs here, I thought I'd let you all know that BMC is finally closing tomorrow

It's a sad day but one that has been long coming.

I hope the powers that be at Mumsnet Towers won't mind me posting this here - there was never an official affiliation between the two sites but a friendly nod was sometimes exchanged.

Goodbye BMC. I made some fabulous friends there and I will miss you

Sad Can't remember my login but had such a lovely time there, met and cooked alongside some gorgeous people and read some wonderously odd and amazing threads. Cinema popcorn scoops have never been the same since.

Worra it used to be BMC but when the founder sold the forum she kept hold of that name so it had to be changed - hence RMC

  1. BMC was never nearly so big as MN, but it was busy and fast in its day.
  2. When the original owner sold the place, she took the name Bad Mothers Club with her, and the new owner rechristened it Real Mothers Club instead. It never really stuck though.
  3. Not really sure as to why it is closing. It just is.
  4. You'd have to ask botworriednow.

Gawd, 11 years it's been going, my kids were titchy back then! Was my 1st go on the internet, hardly moved from my computer chair for the 1st 3 years I case I missed something funny.

My baby was 5 months old ...she will be 12 in October Grin and I have 2 more of the buggers - lost 1 husband, gained many many lovely mates
