youthecat as the DW of an international 3 day event rider I can promise you that the "lifestyle" isn't aspirational or even especially enjoyable. Would you like to live in a lorry in a foreign country for a month - portapotty and hand held shower with stale chilly water included in winter? No? Thought not.

Love the winter Olympics - properly dangerous events which you never see anywhere else. Much more like proper sport than running faster then the next person (yawn)

I know sportspeople work hard and all. I have found some fellow irrational sport dislikers here though which is pleasing Wink I love MN

Jenny Jones has worked to support her sporting career, although she did start on a gap year so I don't think times were that tough.

just wish she would realise how often she says 'like' - bit old at 31 to talk like that!

first ever snow medal from the UK, though. Nice one.
