AIBU to think that between 10.30&11 means between 10.30&11?

Ex rang up yesterday, he has dd2, she has forgotten something, can they come and get it

I told him I have stuff to do but if he gives me a time then I can be in

We agreed between 10.30 and 11 so I rushed back from taking dd1 to theatre group and have been sat here since -one of the shops I need to go to closes at 1

And he's not answering his bloody phone

If dd2 wasn't coming I'd just go out and sod him!

Can't you bag up whatever he needs and leave it on the doorstep with a note??

No my front door is straight onto the road and he can't get through to the back garden

At risk of tipping off burglars, I'd stick a note to the door saying 'You said 10:30-11. I waited until 12, but have to pop out. I'll be back at xx. I hope nothing is seriously wrong"

(Because if you get arsey, sod's law means it's the day they got rear-ended or have some impeccable reason for delay).

Does your DD2 desperately need the item ? I would go out with the item. text him where it can be found

She's just text me and said can they come tomorrow instead as her dad has gone out and she's at her auntie's house
