Katie thinks she's God's gift because she continued to work when her dcs father(s) walked away (no wonder) but that was only because she had a high paid job (I may be wrong here) and could afford the childcare etc.

Make childcare more affordable, go after absent fathers and a lot of people would be able to go back into work. Not every single mum wanted it to be that way, why are the fathers not chased for money no matter what their income? I'm a single parent btw.

Cake sounds good. Quite partial to a lemon drizzle.

Seff het favourites are lemon drizzle or carrot cake. I have mopped and hoovered, you can see the carpet in the living room for the first time in yonks ( toys) and the cake is next on the list.

when are they gonna roll back the renta gobs and start having SERIOUS public debates around topics like?

1/ How to reinvigorate the historical engine of economic growth - the sme sector?
2/ How to efficiently and cost effectively upgrade the IT skills of the over 50's?
3/ How to prevent the growth of zero hours contracts in the public sector?
4/How to fund paid internships so that young people from disadvantaged backgrounds can have the same opportunities to find employment in sectors as diverse as museums and banking.
5/How to sensibly taper the benefits trap so that women returners do not find that going back to work equals going into the red while awaiting those all important first couple of monthly paychecks.
6/how to reduce congestion in the SE by encouraging more corporate relocations to the old industrial heartlands of the UK such as the North and Wales.

Those at the bottom of society's pile know damn well they are at the bottom. they don't need kicking, they need inspiration and ideas to help them climb out of the pit.

Katie Hopkins judges people on benefits but it isn't like she has a real job! She is a failed reality show contestant, she was fired from the Met Office and her company is running at a loss. Her job is just spewing her vile opinions! I don't watch anything she's on.

I found it rather odd that KH ended up coming across as one of the Reasonable ones (lack of facts aside). You've got to hand it to Edwina when KH manages to come off a stage looking less cuntish than anybody else. Can't believe they let her get away with that false claim about the amount of people who 'gave up' their ESA applications. Shapps got roasted for bandying those same stupid figures out. Sue Marsh was meant to be on, Channel 5 cancelled on her at the very last minute :(
