My DH thinks so and I tend to think he's got a point on this one. Daddy is made out to be a buffoon who's crap at everything apart from bringing home the bacon (figuratively speaking) whilst mummy pig is oh so wise and clever

whilst this isn't too dissimilar from my own situation I do think that if the situation were reversed and MP was portrayed as an airhead or other stereotype, there would be uproar.

I have a close friend who is an architect and she insists that Daddy Pig is about taking the piss out of architects and not out of men.

Agree with the David Mitchell comment too. The dads can be the butt of the jokes because despite all that, they still have the biggest life advantage. It kinda redresses the balance.I get it.
