I have a job interview this week for a job I'd quite like... although I don't know what the package will be as I haven't seen an advert I was asked to apply and sent my CV in. (currently self employed small children etc this is me going back to employed work)

I've asked friends their opinions but they've all said oh No can't possibly say

well I'd like to know so I can mentally work out how much I'd have left after tax and child care

so start your guessing because I've Googled at similar stuff and it's any where between 15k and 30 plus commission

sales negotiator in residential dept of local but very well know prestigious independent estate agents

9 - 5.30
alternate Saturdays accrue a day off in leu in week

I don't know what to do then... continue being self employed at home I guess

go for the job - best advice I ever had was always give yourself the chance to say no. they haven't offered it to you yet so you cant turn it down. I would think no more than £10K that's why the salary isn't on the advert. they know that no one would apply if it was and they want to "explain" it to you. think very carefully about the freedom of being self employed before you give it. what value does this job add to your c.v. why do you want to do it? is it going to lead on to another better paid job? these are the questions you need to ask yourself.

There is potential for progression and training up the company I suppose.

I found an advert for another estate agent in same town for the same job 12-15k to 20 Ote

wait until they offer you the job bits! you don't know you have got it yet. then look at how much it is and whether or not you can manage. overthinking it now means when you go in you wont ask the right questions, you will just be fixated on the salary. if the salary is the most important thing then stop applying for jobs when you don't know how much you will earn. chill out, use it as interview practice. wait for them to offer you the job first.,

Is this job just being a phone jockey? Pestering people at random to see if they want to sell their house?

Sounds soul destroying.
