What does your three year old girl wear?

How many teeth does your 9.34 month old baby have?

Is your 2.891 year old potty trained?

I don't have children of those precise ages. Confused

Just pretend.
"My 928 day old son wears nothing but frilly pink knickers and black Hunter wellies."

I get a bit irritated with....my 19 week old baby.....I have to do minor maths in my head. I hate minor maths!!

BertieBottsJustGotMarried · 31/01/2014 19:35

Slight difference between a 5 year old and 60 year old though in that a 5 year old will be limited as to what presents they can use and understand and/or that appeal to them. Of course not all 5 year olds have the same taste in toys but they have roughly the same emotional and physical development so what they are amused by or able to use will be broadly similar.

Plus if you got suggested a dinosaur toy and you know your child is bored by dinosaurs then you just wouldn't look that one up.

BTW for your info, I'm 308 months, 3 weeks and 3 days and 18 hours.

NickNacks · 31/01/2014 19:38

Sort of the opposite thread titles get me. Such as...

'Has anyone here been pregnant?'

'Does anyone on mumsnet live in London?'

'Have you ever drunk tap water?'

Those ones annoy me too. :)

GlitzAndGiggles · 31/01/2014 19:46

I hate the "should my newborn be sleeping so much" threads Hmm. Yes dear h/she should

Trills · 31/01/2014 19:48

Has anyone ever...?

Yes. HTH. You didn't really think you were the first person ever to consider doing that thing, did you?

candycoatedwaterdrops · 31/01/2014 19:56

Glitz I don't think that's very fair. Many new parents get told that all babies do is cry, so they might be concerned.

AuntieStella · 31/01/2014 20:00

YANBU about the choice of wording.

But I am now itching to ask a question about 4440 day olds, and I'll make sure I phrase the thread title nice and lazily so it shows an assumption everybody has one right now.

K8 THANK YOU! for that link.... I have been hugging myself and grinning inwardly for an hour!

I thought, at first, she must be a MNer... because of the Quinoa (that all good MNers know how to pronounce!

K8Middleton · 31/01/2014 23:23

Glad you liked it Han Grin

BertieBottsJustGotMarried · 31/01/2014 23:43

Oh yes NickNacks those ones annoy me. Reminds me of an ex who was so clueless about social norms (he didn't have a disorder, he was just an idiot) he once asked someone "Have you ever heard of a band called Metallica?" Hmm
