To think online shopping is more hassle than it's worth?

Was in need of a long, waterproof winter coat. Couldn't find anything in shops on v rare occasions I go into town so looked online.

Found coat that seemed perfect, ordered it based on size guide and same size in another coat of same brand I already own and it's arrived and is too tight across shoulders and tops of arms...!!

Paid £5 postage now have to pay at least the same to return it and same again to get bigger size sent out. Hope that's not too big or I'll be spending close to £20 postage!! More hassle than it's worth a not such a good deal.

I'll never do online shopping like this again! Or can you convince me otherwise?

If I buy clothing online I always rely more on the reviews people have written. I have a body warmer and a coat from the same range at the same shop. But the reviews alerted me to the fact that I would need to size up for one of the items as it came up small.

Well it all depends on the shop really.

ASOS do free returns and delivery. I wouldn't shop online without free delivery or a free delivery code.

I LOVE online shopping! Got into it big time when on maternity. But only if you follow rules such as getting free delivery codes when you can and making sure you only buy from places that offer free returns (unless you know you definitely won't need to send something back). Also, if you get discounts it doesn't see so bad having to pay postage.

I like online shopping, I really only do special stuff in actual shops, first communion dresses and things like that. Oh, and primary! because they don't do online.

I buy all of the children's stuff at least one size too big, or three years too big if it's from Redoute Hmm, that way I can be sure it will fit eventually. I don't mind them wearing stuff with growing room.

That was meant to be Primark, not Primary! Grin
