to want to ask for a different hairdresser...

I get my hair done in a salon near me and always have/ask for the same lady do my hair...she is great and I love how she does my hair.

Cut and colour comes to £100...

This month I am skint but really need my hair doing. Salon I go to charges depending on grade of stylist. If I get a stylist a grade below the one who normally does my hair, it will cost me £30 less, which would be much better for me.

However, if I go along and she sees someone else do my hair though, I am worried she will think i'm not happy with her work.

OK, it's not the worst problem in the world...maybe I am over thinking this!

Your money, your choice. You don't have to explain. Would highlights work instead?

My hair is long and only needs a trim so can't go too far wrong! The usual woman who does my hair is fairly senior so a grade below will still be ok. I am just worried she will be pee'ed off with me or think I am not happy with using her.

She'll get over it; she's an adult. She may be pleased you've stuck to the same salon for possible future custom.

I've used a couple of different hairdressers at my salon for their various strengths. I don't complain when one leaves and is replaced by a newby.

You are not acting out of malice. You are paying your money to take care of yourself.

Go girl!
