Dc6 due tomorrow.

3 dc still live at home including ds8 with SNs who wets at night regularly.

2 weeks ago my washing machine broke down. 3 visits later & it's still not working. Possibly will be fixed by the end of the week.

10 days ago my boiler broke down. No hot water or heating. Repaired this morning but there is a high chance- according to the engineer I will need to replace the boiler. The house is still freezing.

This morning my tumble dryer broke down. The repair company can't come til Friday.

I live in bloody London. Not the North Pole. Every item in the house is insured with a large well known company- yet I'm spending weeks without heating & washing facilities. I'm off to the launderette- again!

I literally want to cry...

Aibu or can I blame it on my hormones???

I don't even think the hormones are to blame here! Anyone would feel pissed off in these circumstances! I know I would!

Have a Brew and try to relax a little among all this stress!

I feel for you!!! Our boiler has broken too and aside from my being unwell we have no other such complications....it's a TOTAL pita not to mention the horrible expense of buying a new boiler. Have you called and complain about the engineer not coming till Friday? I think you should be an absolute priority. If you're insured with the same company I am (I think it sounds like them) you should be able to get someone quicker than that. I've usually had visits within one or two days.

ZillionChocolate · 27/01/2014 12:52

You poor thing, that's a massive pain.

Supercosy · 27/01/2014 12:52

Oooh! Lemon puffs, haven't had those for years!

Rent a wash, less than £5 per week. Cheaper and more convenient that the laundrettes. You can also hire tumble driers

Rant away that a lot to go wrong.

Shellywelly1973 · 27/01/2014 12:56

Oh i complained... my voice turned into my mother's!

I'm worried I'm going to give birth. Won't be able to wash the stuff from the birth. Ds bedding needs to be done asap- the smell. I do have 4 sets of bedding & 2 duvets so I'm really hoping I can keep it all going til mainly the washing machine is fixed. The tumble dryer isn't necessary but makes life easier.
