RE; Education Professional Referring to DD by Her Initial, Not Name in Mail ??

Just that really...

DDs names was in the tittle bar of my email, so not hard to spot even if you are so busy with so many different DCs to deal with

Reply came back to me referring to DD by the initial of her Christian name only

TBH I'm not over enamoured with this person for several reasons & I am in the process of trying to dump them from their current role anyway, but this got right up my nose as IMHO its very sloppy & unprofessional & was for me in part the final straw.

AIBU ??? or overly fussy ??

Data protection or something. We have been trained not to use names in email. Parents sometimes do take offense, so I always add a line at the beginning of the email to explain.
