. . . to think 'The Butler' is the best film ever to come out of Hollywood?

I've just seen 'The Butler' and it's absolutely wonderful.

Words can't do it justice so I won't try.

But do see it if you possibly can.

OP you need to get out more.

I thought it was utter rubbish for the following reasons

1. Forrest Whittaker can't act.

2. no-one got any older except FW until 5 mins from the end when Oprah aged about 20 yrs in 30 seconds

3. Oprah was awful

4. the son took about 14 yrs to get a degree - I know he kept getting arrested but even so - and then at the end seemed to have a child in his sixties

5. sooo cheesy e.g. Little Caroline Kennedy asking him about segregation, all the presidents asking him his advice, completely unbelievable that a dirt poor black family would have a camera etc.

6. the guy who hired him to work at the White House was still in the same job 25 yes later and had not aged at all

7. it wasn't true, just pretended to be.

Sorry but I hated it.

Didn't like it at all.

12 Years A Slave best film I've seen recently.

American Hustle I found very disappointing. Railyway Man is shit. Her is good but too long.

I enjoyed hustle.
Hope to see wolf next week.
