5 weeks ago my DC was born. When I found out I was completely shock we were not planning on having children let alone twins and DH was also planning to get a vasectomy so huge shock. But anyway, today i dropped my DC of at there clubs as I have been under stress the babies won't sleep for more than 2.5 hours. I was to tired to make breakfast so I bought my DC Gregg breakfast anyway at DC clubs i was frowned upon from doing this and got a earful from DH saying how i am a lazy chav and how i am not respecting him WTH? I think it because I didn't make him breakfast and because i told him he had to iron his own clothes. [c]

OP You have started ANOTHER chav thread?

cookiemonster5678 · 19/01/2014 07:53

You are not being unreasonable OP.

Ignore the bunch of bitches on here, they all obviously ALWAYS do the 'right' thing... Pfffftttt.... Confused

pussycatdoll · 19/01/2014 07:56

Nothing wrong with the nice woman making your kids a bacon roll in gregggs
No different than you making it at home
Congratulations on your new twins op

weebarra · 19/01/2014 08:01

Um, if this post is real, and I understand why, as it does tick some MN bingo boxes, some people might think it's not, a lot of posters on this thread have just perpetuated the image of MN being a bunch of middle class harpies. Now, I know fine well that we are not, but really, if this is an OP looking for support, do you think she got it?

ipswichwitch · 19/01/2014 08:02

So what was your lazy arse DH doing while you were dealing with the babies and trying to get older DC to their activities? Tell him to make his own damn breakfast (and DC's while he's at it). I have a 5 week old DS2 and couldn't give a shiny shit about ironing either.

nennypops · 19/01/2014 08:02

If your husband wants respect, tell him he needs to earn it, and that it takes a real man to help out when there are newborn twins in the house. For instance, as well as ironing his own clothes he could iron yours and the children's.

WaitMonkey · 19/01/2014 09:06

You've posted two threads around the same time last night about 'chav' activity. Hmm

Hoppinggreen · 19/01/2014 09:08

Did you go to Gregg's before or after calling in at Hollister for some £30 t shirts???

PistolAnnies · 19/01/2014 09:19

Cinnamon2013 I was about to post the same thing until I read your post.

Horrible, sanctimonious people.

OP - YANBU... Your husband IS Hmm

You are struggling, as any mum of newborn twins would be and there is nothing at all wrong with getting your other children a quick brekkie from Greggs, I've done it on numerous occasions from Maccies and the like! You don't need to feel guilty about this.

And I totally understood your first post, not sure why people were clearly too thick to think the Greggs was for your twins Blush

Chin up, but speak to your hub and explain to him that he needs to be a bit more supportive xxx

paxtecum · 19/01/2014 09:19

Your husband is an arse as are some of the posters on here.

Why didn't he get breakfast and take the older DCs to their activities?

Nothing wrong with Greggs.

StrawberryGashes · 19/01/2014 09:58

Gregg's sell roll and sausage, roll and bacon, porridge, etc for breakfast for anyone wondering.

I don't see the issue your husband has, you were rushed off your feet so grabbed a roll or some porridge for the kids on your way to their club? It's really nothing to get so worked up about. I would struggle to even get out the house with 5 week old twins!

My kids are 6yrs old and 7 months old and even I don't iron, if dp needs his work things ironed he does it himself.

Supercosy · 19/01/2014 10:11

Really don't stress about it op. The occassional Greggs or similar meal wont be harmful. I'm sorry your husband is being so unsupportive and I'm sorry some of the respondents have been unkind. To be fair I think some people thought your post was a wind up because there have been similar joke threads lately.

You sound really stressed and exhausted I hope things improve soon for you.

Tryharder · 19/01/2014 14:11

YANBU.

I would kill for a Gregg's breakfast at this very moment.

Your DH is being a twat.

Tryharder · 19/01/2014 14:13

As someone said, if I had 5 week old twins, I wouldn't even be out of bed.

Ignore the piss takers OP and welcome to MN.

mrspremise · 19/01/2014 14:19

careful that they dont spill the Greggs crap on their Boden/Joules naice clothes... You do realise that we know who has started threads, don't you?

mrspremise · 19/01/2014 14:19
Hmm
AngelaDaviesHair · 19/01/2014 21:04

Nul points

itsnotthateasy · 20/01/2014 10:19

Newbie here .
I do not think you ABU OP. A Greggs now and then won't matter in the grand scheme of things . As for your Husband , what a twat he sounds.

Avalon · 20/01/2014 10:26

Can't the goat iron? Smile

Onesiegoddess · 20/01/2014 11:34

The babes are young and you are exhausted. However Greg's is a load of crap and far from healthy. I don't think you DH should have gone off at you, he should have made breakfast for everyone. He needs to support you
