Jim Davidson - for decades derided by other comedians as the ultimate in sexist racist dinosaurs - seems to be enjoying a new lease of life in this year's Celebrity Big Brother.

To be fair to him, his sexist and racist jokes were never particularly offensive by 1970's standards but, as the world of comedy moved on, Jim appeared to be firmly fixed in the comedic era in which he rose to fame and fortune.

He hasn't been seen on TV for quite some time but he seems now to be winning viewers' hearts all over again.

Could he really win?

I cant remember him doing it I can remmeber him on give us a clue though a programme where you watch somebody play charades

Yes, Give us a Clue was hilarious. The theme tune is hysterical. There are clips of it on YouTube if you ever need a good laugh, it's so gloriously naff.

I don't mind Lionel so far in the closet he's in Narnia. He's spiteful but silly. I think the fact he did a little tap dance on demand when I saw him in Selfridges years ago makes me feel more forgiving :)
Lee is an utter twat. Casey really embarrassed herself over him but we've all acted an arse over a man haven't we? maybe just me that'll admit it
I like Louisa. She makes me laugh.
Ollie & Sam are sweet but a bit dull,I was a bit embarrassed for Ollie when Sam had the task of telling him she fancied him.
Linda is looking a bit odd tbh & I suspect she is being edited to make it look worse.
Jim & Dappy both make my skin crawl,for different reasons. Jim certainly won't win. He is hideous,winding people up & then looking like the hurt old dad. Grim.

I had to hear all about Jim Davidson's antics in the Falklands when my partner was stationed there.

Totally ruined our and other families goodbye at departure at Brize Norton too, with him lording it about like bloody blabber mouthed billy big balls before the flight.

It was amazing, the number of people who didn't want his autograph.
