To ask my interfering friends to remove the online dating profile they posted...

Grrr... Why do people just not believe you when you say you do not want to meet a man?

Ok I'm not against the idea if it happens naturally but I'm not really in a position to put the time aside for a relationship or even for harmless dating so absolutely wouldn't be seeking out a relationship at this point in my life.

Naturally my bloody interfering friends (I do love them dearly) have decided I should try online dating and have taken it upon themselves to sign me up. Now... I have had a bit of a giggle at some of the messages received and a few of the pics posted but once they leave tonight I have the full intention of removing it. However they now are saying the won't give me the password.

Would it be unfair to slowly torture them until they do? (In all fairness I hope I would just need to tell them very strongly to remove it and they would). Apparently I need to "lighten up a bit, and give it a shot", I do not think that I do.

I'd be livid. I HATE it when friends try to fix me up or tell me it's sad that I'm not with anyone. There's nothing sad at all about it. In fact it just highlights how needy they are if that's what they think.

It's down Grin they have been warned I will have my revenge if they ever do it again.

God how annoying. I hate the way people assume that you can't be single and happy.

SolidGoldBrass · 14/01/2014 14:05

If it doesn't contain any really personal info (ie address etc) then it's probably safe enough just to ignore it completely. But a revenge prank in the future might not be out of order Grin

MeepMeepVrooooom · 14/01/2014 14:21

No address, but it did have my location as the tiny village I live in and my occupation. It also did have my pictures, although got all barr one removed before I managed to delete.

If they do indeed do something like this ever again you will see "Evil Revenge Idea's Needed" as a thread on here.

I might just make one anyway, I think it would make amusing reading Grin
