Picture the scene:

Lovely lunch, great(ish) company, dome serious catching up to do. Hours of free time - the pire unadulterated pleasure of being with a friend and setting the world to rights in a quality environs. And the anticipationof lovely pudding. Should be utter bliss, right?

Bloody waitress used any exuse to clatter, throw chairs under tables, rattle cutlery and generally clomp around.

It quite spoiled the meal and the minor perving of a z list sleb.

WIHBU to complain? I didn't, as I'm a wuss - but it spoiles what should have been a grand couple if hours. Customer service is paramount in this day and age, innit, when f urns are struggling?

I think sometimes, like run up to a period, I swear my hearing goes off kilter and things seem/are A HELL OF A LOT LOUDER AND MORE NOTICABLE THAN OTHER TIMES.

I dunno, I've had similar: waiters loitering very loudly right by our table, poking around with tableware, and it wasn't chucking out time. I was also to soft to say anything. Sorry, unhelpful!
