to think that 32 is too old to be walking down the street in floods of tears over the injustice in Lady & The Tramp?

Hmm

No, I've not even seen the film for at least 20 years.

No, I don't even like dogs all that much.

Yes, it's the first day of my period.

Confused

Luckily the rain disguised my tears.

Can someone pass me a grip?

Oh I'm so glad it's not just me, I watched frozen with my girls and cried so much, tears kept rolling down my cheeks.
Hope your tears have stopped now x

PlumPattern · 07/01/2014 13:40

When Mufasa dies in the Lion King chokes me up Sad

The scene in Titanic gets me too, as well as the one with the old couple spooning in bed as the water pours in, sob.

ReticulatingSplines · 07/01/2014 13:48

I don't mind lady and the tramp. And we love 101 dalmatians.

But Dumbo, Bambi and Watership Down are all banned in this house. Up makes me cry but is allowed - I just try to avoid that bit.

ReticulatingSplines · 07/01/2014 13:48

We fast forward that scene in the Lion King!

HoldMeCloserTonyDanza · 07/01/2014 13:51

I don't think anything is as upsetting as the end of Old Yeller.

Voerendaal · 07/01/2014 13:52

Ginger dying in Black Beauty gets me every time sniff sniff

Dollslikeyouandme · 07/01/2014 13:55

Saddest film ever, the land before time.

Wake up mummy Confused

WillYouDoTheFandango · 07/01/2014 13:56

I came on to say how sad dumbo was but I've been beaten to it.

I watched it at the weekend, the weekend before I had to go back to work after maternity leave. DS was on the receiving end of a few tearful kisses that day!

TimeToPassGo · 07/01/2014 13:57

Marley and Me should come with a health warning for pregnant ladies and the very sensitive.

Not that I wailed like a mad person when I watched it while pregnant

CairoPrapstar · 07/01/2014 13:58

I am such a wimp, I have never seen Titanic either Sad

Cried at Frozen and Up but I do love them especially up.

Mind you even Snowman and snow dog gets me going. I have been known to cry over Neighbours

CairoPrapstar · 07/01/2014 14:01

Ninja I used to have house bunny, she lived with me, my toddler and my staffie, guess who was in charge!

persimmon · 07/01/2014 14:02

Clare Balding was on Desert Island Discs the other week and one of her chosen tunes was the theme to Black Beauty. Made me weep like a baby just visualising the opening credits. I also got really choked up recently explaining to DS why Darth Vader chose to save his son even though it killed him.

Sneezecakesmum · 07/01/2014 14:08

Oh heavens. Boxer!

And babe's mummy also off to slaughter.

And Bambi's mummy getting killed.

All a major weep fest opportunity Sad

revivingshower · 07/01/2014 14:18

timetopassgo dh and I who have a lab we are quite soppy over fond of sobbed all through the second half of Marley and me.

SantaClausesotherwoman · 07/01/2014 14:23

For your own sanity please avoid Marley and me! I still haven't seen the end (got far enough to know what happens though Sad ) Made the mistake of watching it while going through mc - think i've been scarred for life!
I also watched Dumbo with DS while pregnant - BIG mistake.
I did however manage to get through Bambi the other day without crying. I MNing at the same time, but still. Think it was the shock of how scary some parts were compared to today's Disney films!

struggling100 · 07/01/2014 15:18

Hahahahha! I am so glad I am not the only one who has done this after a movie!! Hugs for you - you'll feel better soon xxx

vladthedisorganised · 07/01/2014 16:03

I second to stay away from the Fox and the Hound!
"You're the best of friends... having so much fun together... you're not even aware you're such a funny pair, cause you're the best of friends..."

Wail...

LadyFlumpalot · 07/01/2014 16:04

The last ten minutes of (I've forgotten the name!) that film with the two dogs and the fluffy cat who escape a farm and cross the Rockies to get home.
The bit where the little dog and the cat make it back and the little boy is staring down the garden waiting for his labrador...

SOB! Sad

vladthedisorganised · 07/01/2014 16:04

Oh, and the bit with the cave painting in Ice Age is pretty bad too.

kennyp · 07/01/2014 16:14

jessie's song in toy story two has me in tears even before the first chorus.

plus the beginning of up. but i think even my mil (the woman with a heart of stone) would cry at up. and if she didn't i'd stick onions under her nose.

frugalfuzzpig · 07/01/2014 16:15

I recently teared up listening to the Let It Grow song from The Lorax Blush

Quite embarrassing while on the bus.

And yes it was the first day of period for me too :o

frugalfuzzpig · 07/01/2014 16:17

Lady flumpalot it's called Homeward Bound

I got actual goosebumps reading your post!

I used to have it on video but haven't dared buy it on DVD yet for fear of the wreckage it'll leave when we watch it (DH too!)

marmaladeandguitars · 07/01/2014 16:24

I refuse to watch Titanic, ever again, because of the elderly couple. Even thinking about it makes me feel all sick and sad

marmaladeandguitars · 07/01/2014 16:28

Nobody has mentioned the bit in Babe, where Ma dies!

or the bit in Babe: Pig in the City, where all the animals in the clown's house get captured by the burglars, and the old monkey is holding the goldfish bowl sniff trying toprotect the goldfish, only the robbers smash the bowl and the fish is gasping for breath on the floor Sad and then Babe throws it into the river, and it swims away going I'M FREEEEE

candycoatedwaterdrops · 07/01/2014 19:33

I sobbed so hard at the sad bit of 'Marley and Me' that my friend thumped me on the back because she thought I was choking on a piece of popcorn! Grin
