To put daytime clothes on dd for bed?

I am a complete plain jane where clothes are concerned and 2yo dd is usually in plain (but still pretty) clothes. Saw some stripey sailor type leggings and an anchor tshirt yesterday which I bought as I love, but are, imo too patterned / vibrant for daytime, but made perfect pjs last night.

Keep looking at her in them and thinking (1) lovely pjs! And (2) am I a Bad Mother?

I regularly put daytime clothes as pj's after my dd has had her bath in the evening. She is a nightmare to get ready in the morning so if she already has a top & leggings on then all she needs are socks , clean nappy & a skirt.

Don't fret and enjoy this time as they grow up v quickly.

Ds (6) wears all sorts of clothes to bed, rarely actual pyjamas. So long as she's warm and comfy, does it really matter what she's wearing?
