to send DS to his Grandad's house for a week with a list of food I want him to eat?

Well apparently Grandad is fantastic and him and DS are now best mates Grin

They have not seen each other for a year. So we spent a few days there at Christmas. DS is very fussy about food - or has just been bought up badly (according to DF). We have a lot of battles over vegetables.

But when Grandad gave him peas, DS loved them. No battle. He just ate them. No fussing. No pulling a sick face.

So Dad thinks he's a great Grandad who knows how to get children to eat food (apparently treats are a bad thing) and DS adores Grandad.

I have a list of food I would love DS to eat. Little things like fruit, more vegetables, potatoes. So should I just leave him with Grandad for a week and see what happens Grin

So long as it's done tongue-in-cheek.

Although - less potatoes would be good - too much starch. never understand this British obsession with potatoes with every meal

No, let's him go a pond get grandad to write you a list of all the things he has eaten whilst he was there. Might stop the fussiness if grandad says he liked it.

Let him go and...not let's him go pond.
