Not sure if you remember me but I posted a while ago. I was sat in the loos of my GP surgery crying because I had poured my heart out to my Dr and he had reacted by essentially telling me to pull myself together.

I saw a different GP a couple of weeks later and I seriously appreciated all of your replies telling me to do so.

I am now on day 4 of the Prozac he prescribed and although its taking some getting used to I haven't screamed or shouted at my children (which is something because xmas hols boredom has set in for them and they are winding each other up something chronic!!), I am tired by 11pm (I used to be wide awake until around 2am and had awful trouble getting up) and I am sleeping like a log.
I do have a slight "rushy" feeling and have occasionally found myself feeling a bit detached but I am hoping that will wear off. Feels a bit silly saying this 4 days in but honestly I feel like I can breathe again. Oo and I have lost 1lb - I am eating meals normally but finding that I am not craving evening crisps and chocolate as I was before (Christmas treats are going to be around for a while...)

Anyway, THANK YOU all for your help.
