To ask where you all live?

Most MNetters seem to live south. I haven't seen anyone from my area - Scotland, Dunbartonshire - and I've been on MN under various usernames for nearly 7 years now I think.

Tell me where you're from and let's see if anyone is local to me or you. If anyone's near me, please PM! I really want to meet more people and I can't be the only one, right?

Half London, Half Suffolk.

The local boards will remain dead if people look at them and don't use them. Many Local editors are working their asses off listing and drumming up interest. If everybody starting listing events (Parent & Toddler groups/local events/their own business details if they have one) the sites would come alive.

And if you know of local campaigns, add them too. I have been.
