To ask where you all live?

Most MNetters seem to live south. I haven't seen anyone from my area - Scotland, Dunbartonshire - and I've been on MN under various usernames for nearly 7 years now I think.

Tell me where you're from and let's see if anyone is local to me or you. If anyone's near me, please PM! I really want to meet more people and I can't be the only one, right?

York - I love it. Born in Newcastle, brought up in Islington and moved to Connecticut when I was 15. Came back and went to Manchester University, lived in Vienna for 5 years, back to Connecticut. Met my husband while visiting someone I hardly know in York. Fell in love with him and the place.

Bleakly - did they?! (The old bomb) spent the past few days in dunwich and southwold (saw a road rage incident Sunday in the high street in southwold!!!! Holiday makers!)

Anyway-- I'm diverting..
I'm north Suffolk. I have mn friends from Scotland, Lancashire and Birmingham.. I'm the only southerner among them. Been here on mn for 8 years..
