You would raise a lot more awareness if you joined in and became part of the community more rather than just lecturing us at regular intervals.

Think about real life equivalents - are you going to pay more attention to a message given to you by a friend you often have a chat with over coffee/a pint, or to something yelled at you by the strange person standing on a soap box on the street corner carrying a placard saying "THE END OF THE WORLD IS NIGH"?

I'm sure you are delightful in real life, but your MN persona comes across in the shouty strange person on a street corner camp.

And if people don't like you then it's probably because that's been pointed out to you lots of times and you take no notice.

How do you know she needs help? Maybe she's ok but just wants to raise awareness of cjd. Which I can understand, I'd want to shout from the rooftops if this had happened to a child of mine.

She does raise some valid points and link to some good articles. There's a lot of scientists who are on the same page as her when it comes to prions, so its not all conspiracy theories.

Maybe she has a a different MN name for non cjd stuff? Maybe she doesn't want to post on MN about other stuff? If you don't like the threads ignore them.
