AIBU to worry about this?

My son got up by himself in the night, let a strange man in from the garden, let him wander round the house and went off with him for hours. No DBS check or anything. He told me they went riding on a motorbike (no tax or insurance) and them they flew through the air together. Then they went to a party with loads of food I hadn't vetted and a crowd of men I don't know who were dancing and drinking alcohol.

He's now woken up and very upset because his friend seems to have disappeared leaving only his scarf and hat.

AIBU to be worried and upset?

Call 101 immediately! What are you doing on Mumsnet when there's a weirdo like this at large? Do you really need an internet forum to tell you what to do? Honestly woman, get a grip. Call yourself a mother?? Oh, and while we're at it, your "D"H needs to man up, why isn't he out leading a posse? LTB.

He's now left a Christmas card in a box at our new house. It's going to start all over again isn't it? I don't have a partner to man up. I seem to live in the kitchen making sandwiches and providing scarfs and hats for snowmen. I think feminism passed me by. Grin
