They never look at a house and say - Yes! This will suit us beautifully.

No. They always have to 'change' the kitchen, or 'move the bathroom, or redesign the garden' or 'build en extension'.

Today's lot want a vegetable car, a garage fopr his sports car and a library. Makes a change from wanting a 'music room' I suppose.

They are just never happy are they?

I haven't noticed that squidgy, but I have noticed that this thread is over four years old.

They do very occasionally buy one of the houses but it's extremely rare. Most of them don't strike me as serious buyers and they are so picky. If someone actually wants to buy a house on TV they need to be on Location.

My favourites are the ones who want good transport links but no road noise. Umm....

The thing I've always noticed about this programme is the mystery house. You can almost guarantee that whatever the couple say they definitely don't want - well that'll be the mystery house.

Definitely don't want a thatched cottage? Here's a cottage with a thatch.
