To feel a bit sickened and guilty about how much I have spent this Christmas?

I just need to stop noooow. It's just all the little bits that add up. My dad gave me 50 pounds to buy something for myself and I ended up buying a beautiful broach that cost more than that but made up the difference myself.
This wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have normal non -Christmassy things to buy too. I can't help but feel a bit uncomfortable about my consumption this Christmas.

You can't rescue a cat unless you have a garden and not live on a busy road or bus route.

Our local rescue centre reckoned I would need to take at least a year off work to look after a kitten!!!!! Bonkers!!!!

If you are going to take it back, don't wear it. Because then you are guaranteed to lose it.

If a rescue centre thinks you work too long hours to have a cat, then guess what? You shouldn't have a cat. I don't know if that makes the brooch situation harder or easier though.

Sure you can MinceMuffPies. It just depends on the rescue and the cat.

It's the food and booze too plus some lovely presents and a suit for my new job from ebay was a bargain but still adds up. I just get over excited at Christmas.

I'm keeping it. There are some free cats on per loved etc.

If you can afford the £40 difference, then keep the brooch.Present to yourself for getting a new job?

I'd keep the brooch, as long as you can afford to pay the bills. :)
