The only reason Nicholas has gone through so easily week after week is because he has a whole County behind him. I imagine the Scots are all voting for him just because he's 'one of them' as opposed to because they actually like him.

I used to watch avidly in years gone by but haven't bothered in recent years.

There've been a number of Scottish acts that did well, leon Jackson won and the MacDonald Brothers.

I think it was mean of Nicole to out sing Sam - she didn't actually have to do that. She is a great singer though - why doesn't she release more solo material?
