I am currently sobbing along to The Holiday, after celebrating national Elf-along-day last Sunday. I haven't got around to a tree yet (I don't like it up for more than a couple, three weeks so it goes up on Saturday and comes down on 12th night) but start cakes in late October and presents/card planning in November. It's not a lack of planning, I like to cram it into a happy December, and the films help set the mood.
