I need ideas, no sweet corn, no mushrooms, I need lots of vegetarian/vegan ideas but have meat eaters coming too.

I do spicy prawn vol au vents, I make my own marie rose sauce with extra cayenne pepper and tabasco sauce in it. I do it with nice big king prawns. a twist of cucumber on top and a sprinkle of paprika.

I also do ones with a big blob of philadelphia cheese and red pepper on top.

oh i love that sort of buffet I dont care if it is old fashioned, no vegan ideas I suppose using a substitue is the way to go ,

Yes pastry is vegan, some guests aren't so lots of variety needed Smile

I think the only acceptable filling is that creamy chicken you get in a tin. That's how we did it in the 80s Grin

I was just about to mention tinned chicken in.white sauce whichit's whar my.mum.used to do 30-odd years ago, served cold!

So wrong but really nice!
