WIBU to use DH's Christmas present?

Having a moral dilemma... I've bought a box set of Big Bang Theory for DH for Christmas from the children. I'm well behind on tv clearly and so haven't seen any of them and have only seen a few of the new episodes my mum taped at her house and loved them. DH has kids for the night, WIBU to unwrap the box set and sit with a glass on wine wrapping presents and watching them?! And then give it to him for Christmas still I mean Blush

In my defence, I don't think he'd mind, would probably find it funny and we have no tv (only a DVD player) so I can't watch anything else. It does seem rather cheeky though to say the least Blush

Erm, wouldn't it be nicer to give a nice new sealed present, and then watch it together with DH after Christmas? Have some self control and patience :)

BohemianGirl · 07/12/2013 17:02

Why dont you give them early, watch them whilst you wrap presents together?

BackforGood · 07/12/2013 17:06

Yes, that would BU

revivingshower · 07/12/2013 17:25

Yes BU but somehow in the spirit of big bang theory.

Peedoffy · 07/12/2013 17:27

Oh boo, I won't then!

Watching it together isn't really an option as we seperated last month (sorry I realise I didn't mention that in my OP!) hence why he has DC tonight. Maybe I can borrow them in March!

Oh in that case - yanbu at all.

You can get plain cellophane at stationers shops, he'll never guess!

Sorry but yes, YABU.

Is TBBT on netflix? Take out a free trial or pay £6 for a month and then cancel and get your fix that way.

As a student I often bought books for my mum for her birthday or Christmas, read them and then gave her them. It was just simpler than her reading them and passing them to me because of Xmas and Easter holidays.

DH would neither notice or care if I watched his DVDs.

RoseRedder · 07/12/2013 17:52

The problem is if he wants to return them he won't be able to if they have been opened and played.

pm'd you as well OP
