Oh my goodness!! I've been in touch with an old work mate who has recently asked me out but I was unsure etc. WELL tonight he has told me he's having a great old time watching Johnathan Ross, roaring laughing at Keith Lemon.
Oh my God, I'm appalled that someone could be roaring laughing at this! I enquired further and yes he's actually a big Keith Lemon fan.

Spot on! I've met him (and his lovely wife) and he is one of the nicest people you could met, genuinely. My mum is a huge fan, she's met him countless times and he always takes the time to give her a big hug and have a chat!

Don't get me wrong I probably wouldn't be entirely put off if I was mad about him, I may just shove it to the back of my head and pretend he never said it
When I first got with my ex he told me he liked Eddie Murphy, I couldn't get the images of him cackling away to Big Mommas House, Doctor Dolittle and the likes out of my head but shoved it to the back of my mind and one evening Flubber was on as we were flicking through the channels and trying to be tolerant and non judgemental I said "Oh eh, look who it is. We can watch this if you like"? Which he found hilarious, it turns out Eddie Murphy does stand up!!

There's a definite good natured warmth about the character of KL - even when he's being "offensive". I've always thought it sort of leaks from LF if that makes sense. He obviously likes people.

YANBU. This kind of humour (along with 8 out of 10 cats, etc) appeals to teenage boys. my DH loves them . I watched one episode of Through the Keyhole & found it totally tedious. There were some lame attempts at wit but mostly it was a total waste of time.

Good natured warmth? The character is vile mysoginistic patronising and disgusts me that others laugh at it. Benny hill was once considered funny but now is derided. KL is worse. That fearne holly et al buy into his shit just proves what money grabbing media monkeys they are.

He is what the ff button was made for. That and the supermarket Xmas ads...

I actually find him quite funny and can't say I find him offensive. Obviously he's not going to be to everyone's taste, but it would be a dull dull world if we all shared the same sense of humour.

I loved the Keith Lemon character when it was first introduced in Bo In The USA, but find it a bit tired now tbh. Still enjoy it but not like I used to.

Would love to know what posters do find funny, not in a rude way but genuinely would like to know our of interest. Comedy really is subjective isn't it?
