A vest (or singlet) is THIS

If it has SLEEVES it's a T-shirt

If it has POPPERS at the crotch it's a fucking babygro. Or a onesie, if you must. NOT a fucking VEST.

I am so pissed off that the penny has only just dropped now. You've been confusing me for years on this. Particularly as adults wear vests and in that context it doesn't have bloody poppers at the crotch now, does it!?

It's a vest, they can have no sleeves, short sleeves or long sleeves. the only reason they have poppers between the legs is because babies spend the majority of their time lying down and the poppers stop the vest riding up and making the baby uncomfortable.

Babygro's are the all in one sleep suit things with arms and legs.

Vests have no legs.

On babies with nappies they popper under the crotch. They can be sleeveless short sleeved or long sleeved.

Onesie is American word haven't heard it until recently but if you said it would think babygro for adult.

A romper is an all in one garment with short or long sleeves and legs.

Babygro is a brand name for sleepsuit.

And rompers don't have feet, otherwise they become sleepsuits.

Pramsuit is an all in one that is not thickly wadded or quilted and is worn over thinner layers.

A vest goes under a babygro - a vest can have long ir short sleeves - may or may not fasten under the crotch but has no legs.

A babygro- aka romper suit/ sleep suit etc generally has sleeves and legs. Romper suit can also have more trouser or short style legs but sleepsuit has feet on the legs (and sometimes includes mittens)

Vests go under a babygro. Baby Bonds is crap anyway. You don't need a vest under any clothes in Oz this time of year as it's too hot.
