They sit there for days on end at the top of the lsit with about five comments (probably made b the name changing author in any case.)
I don't get it. Why do we need 'blogs' when the place is jam packed full of people expressing interesting opinions in any case?

Another one who has never read one.

Yes, that is a good point. I contributed a Guest Blog a while back and was really quite upset to get thoroughly flamed on it. I spent ages writing and rewriting it, during our family holiday because I was on a deadline.

It did feel different to starting a contentious thread.

Anyone alerted muumsnet to this thread? They could do with reading it perhaps?

LoopyLobster · 08/12/2013 14:02

I've been thinking about blogging for a while. This may have spurred me on...

but

does anyone blog fiction? I much prefer writing fiction. I only ever see factual blogs. Any thoughts, blogging people?

ButThereAgain · 08/12/2013 14:12

The first few posts on my (now dormant!) blog were of fiction. I got interest than I later got for non-fiction posts but I would say, absolutely, go for it. I can't think of any reason at all why you shouldn't blog fiction rather than other sort of content. The key, thing, really, is getting whatever words are within you onto the page and into a shape fit for other eyes (even if no other eyes read them!) -- and if what you have in you is fiction then fiction is what you should write. Everyone owes it to themselves to get their own words out and polished, whatever those words are!

That is a very sad thing to read Mme Lindor. Whilst I respect that people are free to express their opinion on your blog it does sound as if you felt set up a bit or at least it was unexpected
