SP, I'm saluting you on the chips dipped in milkshake decision but they're far better dipped in chocolate shake rather than strawberry. I've never had McD's and KFC in the same day but I do enjoy the occasional greasefest from such establishments. In fact I had a cheeseburger and a festive pie today mmmmm. It's quite sad how delighted I was that they've got the mincemeat and custard back instead of those evil chocolate orange things.

I don't like either so I always have to state 'without blah blah' and they always sigh and say 'that'll be an extra 4 minutes'

I prefer BK as they don't use these vile accoutrements on their bacon double cheeseburger

I had scampi fries for brekkie last week

My death row last meal would be a Zinger box meal with coleslaw. Bkoody brilliant.

One time when we were skint and the kids wanted KFC I made my own spicy breaded fillet burgers, grilled the buns, dug out some salsa and hash browns, kraft slices,french fries from the freezer and some cartons of juice from the shed, wrapped the burgers in greaseproof paper, put the fries in a greaseproof cone and put it all in some paper lunchbags. Then we sat on the bench in the garden to eat them. The kids loved it and occasionally ask for "fake" KFC. :o

Glad it's not just me with the overstimulated bowels after a McD's or KFC.
When i was a slinky young thing, I used to pour a whole tub of sweet and sour sauce into my chicken sandwich, wrong but totally delicious.

I hate the calorie/fat police, so dull, and I say that as somebody who has to give regular nutrition and health promotion education as part of my job. Everything in moderation and all that.

I haven't laughed so much since that really weird thread where armchair psychologists some Mumsnetters decided that anyone who doesn't like curry/spicy food, is 'boring' and has no personality!

I had a Maccy's cheesburger today on my way to Asda (but it was only 99p...so no bragging here Lol)

Then I bought mincemeat in Asda and made burgers for dinner, with wait for it...frozen french fries that I bunged in the deep fat fryer

I instructions suggested I cook them in the oven...but why the fuck would I want to abuse them in that way??

Of course I was young and carefree...but never understand this whole bloated/it makes you feel crap thing.

As for the po-faced people, seriously get a life. Sometimes I eat brown lentils, sometimes a maccies...it's called moderation.

Some fast food is healthier and less calorie laden than some top restaurant food cooked in 7kg of butter.

I have an American friend who eat McDs every day and sometimes has fast food 2x a day. She wonders why she is probably 100kg overweight.

Burger king is definitely nicer than maccy ds. The chips at bk have changed again and are lush. Mcds often gives me gut ache which puts me off now. It really is way to sugary for my internals to take

I can't eat KFC anymore due to gallbladder issues, and it seriously is the only really fatty food I miss. If I ever have it removed, I am going to be discovered in a KFC induced coma, face down in a bargain bucket.

I used to like KFC when I was a child - until there was an article in the press about someone eating a KFR - Kentucky Fried Rat! I suspect it probably infiltrated the kitchen and fell into the vat, rather than being used by KFC as a cheaper substitute for chicken. Either way, I have never eaten one since!

I think KFC have the best coleslaw in the world!

Their milkshake/ice cream things are terrible though. I had a milkybar crush em thing a while a go and it was like sick.
