To think they could proofread leaflets and signs?

I had a leaflet through the door. Not only have they spelt the town name wrong, it's advertising auto repair, and they apparently do cluches.

Another one I had through The door had Random capital letters, like This.

Not to mention the company offering accomadation and the random apostrophie's everywhere! (See what I did there?)

Or the person offering there childminding service's (ofsted registerred of course!)

If you're going to the trouble and expense of having leaflets printed or signs made, why not spell and grammar check it first! Let's face it, MS Word could have picked up those errors, my iPad certainly did. I'm not one of these that insists every text, personal email or forum post is perfect in every way, but I would be put off a company who made such basic errors in professional literature.

I read an advert for a job as a 'social policy corodinantor' WTF is that? I assumed co-ordinator but imagine if someone phoned up to ask about the corodinantor job? How embarrassing.

Posh dessert menu in a posh restaurant offering... Banana Spit. I roared!

Someone I know posted a photo of their new business card on FB.
"Removals.
No load to big or to small"
I didn't have the heart to tell him he's an idiot it was wrong.

Don't get me started....! My family cringe when we go out for a meal, as I 'Tut' while reading the menu Grin

A restaurant that we really like has recently updated its webpage - and now 'serves freshly cooked english cuisine' - Aaaaargh....!!!!

I'm getting twitchy reading this thread.
A home-printed poster was left into my work recently for a wine tasting event, one of its features was 'home made canopies'
It went in the bin, I reckon it would've harmed their business/ reputation by having such shite displayed. What the sweet fuck is wrong with people?! You learn this shit in primary school!

Oh but of COURSE my italic attempt would fail.
