Recently something has been bugging me but it seems many on here share a completely opposite opinion & get very defensive and sometimes nasty about it

Aibu to feel like I cant post with getting a bollocking about something I would have a seconds thought about?

I can see where you're coming from. I have once or twice started threads on subjects that I thought were pretty innocuous and had one or two posters rounding on me in a really rude and ignorant way. One poster even picked up on the fact that I couldn't do links on one thread and said 'that's just as fucking stupid as your thread title' or something similar. I was Shock.
However, letting bullies like that put you off starting threads is just letting them win. So YABU.

I think that we all have to remember it is a minority of posters who act like that. Though it can seem a lot larger number at the time
