Small DC little bit trouble lately but
manageable kind of anyway

So one day he run to me
and
Licked me (o)

I've absolutely freeze
intensively started thinking what
did just happened and where it can come from

After an initial shock I'd realise
He was watching his favorite cartoon

Its just a story about dogs funny heart warming with a bit of "kissing" and
happy ending of course

I do have to admit it came to me as a bit of surprise
never thought it's going to have such big impact on my DC

He absolutely love this cartoon we watched it a few times together
but he confused me with his
"kiss"

What now?

Monty27 · 24/11/2013 00:50
Confused
AgentZigzag · 24/11/2013 00:51

Are you linking the 'little bit of trouble' you've had with him with the licking?

knocknock · 24/11/2013 00:52

Noo I was surprised

My first thought was
what did I do wrong this time

Have to admit it was quiet funny if you would think about it

Well funny because he did it to me

FortyDoorsToNowhere · 24/11/2013 00:52

Why would you freeze at your child licking you?

AgentZigzag · 24/11/2013 00:53

How old is he?

YoureBeingASillyBilly · 24/11/2013 00:54

Sorry, i still cant tell. What is the problem exactly?

knocknock · 24/11/2013 00:54

I would probably have some explanation to do if
he would run to somebody else and "kiss" him that way

DC is three

Youre
well we don't usually lick
we kiss

Small children can catch so many details it can really surprise sometimes

My boy a long while ago was walking around the house
Singing
He is going to shoot himself
We liked the same album but he's dad was a bit pissed of with me

KeepingUpWithTheJonses · 24/11/2013 01:09

What are you talking about?

My three and five year olds were playing 'dogs' the other day...I walked into the room and they were sniffing each others bums and pretending to lift their legs and pee on each other.

Small children are weird often.

I wouldn't be concerned about my three year old licking me!

KeepingUpWithTheJonses · 24/11/2013 01:10

Why would you think you had done something wrong because your child licked you?

OutragedFromLeeds · 24/11/2013 01:16

One of mine is a thumbsucker, when something very exciting/fun/good happens he sucks my thumb to celebrate. It's gross. Kids are weird. Don't worry about it.

MrsTerryPratchett · 24/11/2013 01:32

Mine licks me, I call her a naughty puppy, then I tell her to sit. She sits then pants. One lick would be normal as custard in this house.

Mabelface · 24/11/2013 01:36

do i take it that English is not your first language? mimicking is normal behaviour.

SarahFx · 24/11/2013 06:50

Why is your post written in the form of a poem?

Birdsgottafly · 24/11/2013 12:30

I don't know whether this is a genuine post, tbh.

However, my youngest (now 16) went through various stages.

There were times when she wouldn't walk, she "galloped", she lived horses.

She went through a licking stage, along with cat behaviour, this was her cat stage ( I made her wait until she was 13 to get a cat).

She was also a boy called James for a while.

So it is normal and yes they do take in more than you think, age appropriate shows are generally fine.

Do you need support with what you consider "problems"?

knocknock · 24/11/2013 18:22

We on our way to fix problems Bird thank you guys
